Crown Chakra
The crown chakra is located at the top of the head. It spirals up as the root chakra spirals down. The sanskrit name, Sahaswara, and is said to refer to the "thousand petal lotus". It is the center related to your awakening, or enlightenment. It is the center that governs our relationship with the Divine, or with the God of your understanding. The crown energy center governs the subtle aspect of the mental body and can transcend time and space by giving access to past life recall. Balance is deep faith and trust in Life, in the God of your understanding, in your path. Balance may express itself as a genuine desire to serve.
