Heart Chakra
The heart chakra is located at the center of the chest. The sanskrit name, Anahata, means, “unstuck" or "unhurt". This is the gift of forgiveness, one of the spiritual functions for the heart center, which accepts andallows all that is already here. It is the mind that closes the heart, not the other way around. The heart chakra is the bridge between the earthly energy centers of the lower chakras (root, sacral, solar plexus) and the spirit energy centers of your upper chakras (throat, third eye, crown). The heart is where heaven and earth meet. The heart chakra energy governs the lungs as well as the heart. The color is green just like the leaves on earth's trees. Trees are the lungs for the planet. The wisdom of the heart chakra reminds you that you are interconnected and interdependent with the planet and all sentient beings who live on her surface. We keep ourselves from the benevolence of our True Nature by holding onto past grievances. The guided meditation helps to alchemically undo the knots of the unforgiven. When the wisdom of the heart center is integrated and fully realized, the energy that emerges manifests as compassion and consideration for the greater good, for humanity, for animals, for the planet.
